For Children
Unity Classes
Our unity classes for children aged 6-10 foster virtues such as truthfulness, kindness, generosity, fairness, and forgiveness. Such spiritual qualities set a foundation for a life-long commitment to serving humanity. After four-grades of unity classes, children can join our Junior Youth Spiritual Empowerment Program, where they develop their reading, math, science and thinking skills while also carrying out their own service projects.
Open to all Faiths
While our unity classes draw largely upon Baha'i-inspired materials, they focus on the spiritual qualities or virtues that are common to all faiths. The children say prayers, sing songs, memorize quotations, learn stories and act out plays that celebrate these virtues.
Art and Games
Unity classes use art and cooperative games to reinforce positive qualities among the children - and to give them a chance to have some fun and make friends.
A safe and friendly enviornment
We offer a safe, respectful and nurturing environment for children to learn, make friends and have fun. Our volunteers are required to have background checks. And we welcome the involvement of parents who would like to either observe or help out with unity classes.
